Camp was a good size. $30 per night with waster and electric. Hot showers. Easy to find.
The location of the Park with the little creek running on one side of it was it's saving grace.
Janice (I hope that I get your name right) was such a kind and caring host. Travelling alone in a camper van she went out of her way to make me feel welcome, as she could see I'd had a rough day. Even introduced me to my camp neighbours and provided me with a delicious dinner of roast pork! Thank you!
Came really late, they made it easy. Just pick any spot that's not reserved. Lots of trees, Creek nearby. One shower in each bath house can make slow going, but place is relatively clean. Pleasant manager. $30 a night full hook ups.
Great place Under New Management well maintained people are friendly pet friendly kid friendly I recommend it heck I live there for the past 4 years
Arrived on the appointed date and found no assigned site. A grounds keeper told us to just pick out a site and park there. We found a site which was in bad need of cleaning and pruning. We discovered there was no sewer outlet, at the site, but a dump station is available. "We expect our guests to be self contained." This was not disclosed to us at the time our reservations were made.
No restaurants nearby so take food in or be prepared to drive to the next town.
We will be passing this way again, but will not use this campground in the future.
Then she asked me to go online and give a review of their services.
The campground is situated next to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and the trains run all night and day.
When I went to pay the attendant for the site, she charged $30.00 per night for this abysmal park site. She advertises Good Sam's Club member, but stated she, "don't give a discount." I asked why she was displaying the sign associating her park with Good Sam's, she stated, "Well we let their members stay with us, but we don't give no discount."
Stayed here June-Aug with our 5 children (ages 12-4.) Best thing about this park is the location. In the middle of the Columbia river gorge, plenty of hiking/biking trails and fishing/ swimming holes nearby. The town of North Bonneville is a stones throw away and my kids loved riding their bikes to the library and playground there. Downside to the park is that there are practically no amenities. Although I knew we would have not sewage hookups and would have to pay for warm showers, it got old really quick. I liked that the other campers and residents were low key and quiet...minded their own business and not uppity like a lot of the parks around Portland. Many of the RV parks would not take us because we have a bus conversion. I've heard rumor that this park is making upgrades and will soon be more selective in who they'll take. Hope that isn't true, because we would definitely come back.
